About

I translate various things from Japanese to English; manga, lyrics, band tweets, etc. I try to stay as faithful to the original text as possible, while at the same time translating the text into natural English. My aim is to create a translation that is the English echo of its Japanese counterpart.

I would love to be able to translate Japanese visual-kei magazines into English and bring said magazines into a more international market for fans who can’t read or understand Japanese.

Outside of translation and various aspects of Japanese pop culture, my interests include reading, music, guitar, sports, coffee, etc.
